The pictures are divided chronologically.
These first models are of Londinium (Roman London) – and super historically accurate. I went to my first Archaeology class a few days after visiting here and they showed us sketches etc which were recreated here. Pretty awesome! The detail is insane. In every room there are people doing things, and the cargo you see in the little carts are all individual – eg. if you squint you can see the individual orange things, the detail on the wee people’s clothing etc. To put things into perspective, the people are about as tall as the length of your fingernail.
I might make a post of historical fashions at some point (i’ve collected quite a few pictures on this theme) but for now – look at the fancy dresses! The hats! The tight man-pants!
the glass did make it a wee bit difficult to photograph from some angles, but I think these turned out alright.
